The FaceTracker is a very lightweight, easy to use, head-mounted facial expression tracker that is already being used for productions, education and research by leading companies across the globe. The FaceTracker allows realtime data transfer of the actor's facial movements to any application or animation workstation like VuppetMaster, Kaydara MoCap and many more.
After only a few hours of training, you are able to produce life like characters with lip sync facial animation or study facial expressions for research. Now facial animation is a matter of minutes and hours, instead of days and weeks.
The FaceTracker enables actors and designers to work in a natural way as opposed to puppeteering or keyframing. As the actor performs facial movements for your character, the software simultaneously records or transmits the tracked movements in realtime. Because of this ability you can not only animate with the FaceTracker, you can also do realtime performances with characters interacting on live television, talk shows and virtual hosts at trade fairs and conferences.
